To create a new project for us to work on, click on Projects at the top left, then click the new project button at the right.

Now you can fill out the project information. The essential fields:
- Enter a descriptive Project Name
- Company is required, but in most cases there will only be one option - the company or organization through which you're hiring us
- The Description is optional, but a good place to give some more information about the project. If you'd like an estimate, tell us here.
The other fields are optional, or get filled out automatically:
- For Project Owner, you can leave the default (you).
- Enter a Start Date and Target Finish Date. We may need to change these, but we'll check with you before doing so.
- If you have a Target Budget you want us to plan on, enter it.
- You may have a URL for a live website where the work needs to be completed - enter it under URL.
- If you'd like, you can assign a Priority to this project.
- The Short Name is automatically generated based on the Project Name you chose. You can leave it, we'll change if necessary.
- Don't worry about the Color Identifier, Project Type, or Status; they're fine as-is.
When you're done entering the project info, click the submit button on the right. This will save your project.
